The site has two main menus - one at the top of the page and another on the left. These menus will take you into the majority of pages on the website.

When browsing individual pages, almost all of them will have options within them that are displayed on menus on the right of the page, such as the 'related links' menu on this page.

Other than on the two main menus on the site, links are highlighted using red text and visited links are bright blue.

Compatibility

The site has been designed to fit on a minimum resolution of 800x600 and to work with all the recent releases of the most commonly used browsers, including Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox and Netscape.

Accessibility

When developing the site I was conscious of making it as accessible as possible, although as the development is done on a purely voluntary basis and I have a finite amount of time available to commit to it, some corners have inevitably had to be cut.

However, the site does achieve most of the requirements of the first two levels of the Disability Discrimination Act, including allowing text resizing and all images having alt/title tags.

I have also deliberately avoiding using javascript as much as possible and added a site map so that the majority of the content can be reached with a maximum of three clicks from the home page.
